Omega-3 increases the level of good cholesterol in blood decreasing the risk of blood clots appearance. The research conducted on the Eskimo people showed that consumption of fish contain Omega-3 acids, such as salmon, tuna, mackerel, herring or sardines has a great influence on the heart preventing from e.g. stroke or arteriosclerosis. Consuming the proper amounts of Omega-3 acids is crucial for a child’s intellectual development.
